Julianne launched her own shoe line for Sole Society and now she is using shoes to support breast cancer research. It has been announced that she will be the spokesperson for QVC's joint effort with the Fashion Footwear Associaton of New York to rasie money for the cause.
Over 120,000 shoes from more than 80 different brands will be offered at half the manufacturers suggested retail price. The net proceeds will benefit breast cancer research and education institutions. The partnership has generated over 41 million dollars for the cause to date.
Hough is proud to join the effort. "There are many bonds that women share. Unfortunately breast cancer is one that negatively impacts so many," said Hough. "Having the opportunity to take a positive bond like a passion for shoes and adapt it to benefit a worthy cause such as this is incredibly fulfilling."
"Julianne's breadth of talent and her vivacious spirit are admirable," says Claire Watts, CEO QVC U.S. "She is a natural fit as this year's spokesperson, and we're so pleased that she is supporting this worthy cause with us."

A shoe from the Julianne Hough Sole Society collection will be offered for sale. Julianne will appear in television and print ads for the cause.
