Julianne Hough Elegant At W Magazine Escada Party

Julianne attended the W Magazine and Escada party on Thursday, September 26th.  She looked glamorous and elegant in a stunning black jumpsuit.  The jumpsuit had sheer sleeves and a pretty design on the back.  She wore matching black sandals.











The hosts for the event were Daniel Wingate, Suzanne Todd and Jennifer Todd.  It was held at the Escada Boutique in Beverly Hills.

 Earlier in the day, Julianne was spotted having lunch with Cara Santana at Lemonade in West Hollywood.  The blonde star seemed ready for fall in a sweater, jeans and suede boots.

Julianne will be busy with her upcoming projects.  She will be filling for Len Goodman as a guest judge on Dancing with the Stars.  She also has an upcoming film project, Curve, for Blumhouse productions.  It is Julianne's first foray into the thriller/horror genre.  We can't wait to see Julianne try her hand at this new genre.

Julianne Hough Returns To Dancing With The Stars


Julianne Hough will be returning to Dancing With The Stars in two weeks.  This time around instead of hoofing it on the floor she will be sitting behind the judges table. 
The former DWTS pro will be serving as a guest judge during Len Goodman's absence.  Julianne made a surprise appearance on Monday nights DWTS telecast. 
She chatted with host Tom Bergeron about her upcoming stint as a guest judge.  Julianne joked that she couldn't wait to touch the paddles.  She further went on to state that she was getting rid of paddles four and under. 
While Tom made a joke about the dancers faces upon learning the news, we can only wonder what they were actually thinking!  We are excited to see Julianne as a judge.  Leave a comment and tell us what you think about Julianne being a judge.

Derek Hough Wins Emmy With Sister Julianne Hough At His Side



Julianne walked the red carpet at the Emmy Awards with her brother Derek on Sunday September 22.  The blonde actress attended the awards to support her brother Derek. Derek is nominated for two Emmys for outstanding choreography.  He was nominated for his Hearts Cry-Stars Performance and Pachuchaco/Para Lose Rumberos/Walking on Air Performance.

Julianne looked radiant in a Jenny Packham gown with Jimmy Choo shoes.  She also wore David Yurman Jewelry and  carried a Swarovski clutch.  Even though Julianne and Derek looked stunning on the Red Carpet, we notice they didn't get an interview on the E Red Carpet Special.

Earlier in the evening Julianne tweeted pictures of her two King Charles Spaniels,  Harley and Lexi, glammed up for the Emmys.  The adorable duo were sporting fancy hair bows.  She also tweeted pictures of the team helping her prepare for the big night including her friend and hair stylist Riawna Capri, Anita Patrickson,Spencer Barnesla and Emma Rube.





Julianne's next big project is Blumhouse Productions "Curve".  It is a new genre for Julianne.  The movie features Julianne playing a bride to be who picks up a hitchhiker who turns out to be a psychopath.  She crashes her car into a tree in an attempt to escape only to find herself trapped inside the car with the stranger.



This years Emmy show featured a production number choreographed by all the Emmy nominees for Outstanding Choreography.  Julianne and Derek's evening was made perfect when Derek was announced the winner for Outstanding Choreography!  We are sure they will be partying into the night to celebrate.

Congratulations Derek!  A much deserved win.

Julianne Hough Looks Like An Angel At Estee Lauder Party


Julianne spent last week in New York City attending fashion week.  The blonde star attended the Marc Jacobs Fashion Show on Thursday, September 12th.  After the show Julianne headed to the Estee Lauder Modern Muse Fragrance Launch Party held at the Guggenheim Museum. 



She sported a burgundy Marc Jacobs crop top and skirt for the fashion show.  She paired it with Casadie heels to complete the look.  She changed to an Emilio Pucci dress for the Estee Lauder Party.  Many reports from the party stated that she looked like an angel in the lacy white dress.




Hough appeared to be having a lot of fun at the party.  She tweeted that she was having fun running into old friends and dancing to music performed by some amazing violinists.




Julianne was spotted the next day out and about the city in pair of cutoff shorts.  She accessorized her outfit with a scarf, sandals and a hobo bag.

Julianne Hough Out And About In New York



Julianne was spotted in New York City yesterday.  She was showing off her great legs in a pair of short denim cut offs.  She paired the shorts with a sheer floral top and open toe wedge shoes.
Julianne is in New York attending fashion week.  The actress tweeted earlier in the week that she was excited to head to New York for fashion week.
 




The Hollywood Insider reported on Wednesday that Julianne had landed the leading role in the movie "Curve".  It is a thriller that follows Hough's character as she picks up a hitchhiker who turns out to be a psychopath.
Things are looking rosy for Julianne with a new man and a new movie role!

Julianne Hough Takes A Curve In Her New Movie Role



This has been an exciting week for Julianne.  She has been spending time this week with her sister, Sharee and her kids.  Julianne tweeted some cute pics and videos of her nephews.  
Yesterday Julianne jetted off to New York City for fashion week.  Julianne has become quite a fashion icon recently, so she will be right at home during fashion week.


The big Julianne news this week is her new movie.  It has been reported that Hough has been cast in the Blumhouse thriller "Curve".  Julianne will play Mallory the female lead.  The story follows Mallory as she picks up a hitchhiker who turns out to be a psychopath.  She eventually crashes her car in an attempt to free herself, only to become trapped inside with the hitchhiker
The movie will be directed by Iain Softley. Softley's other directing credits include "The Skeleton Key", "K-Pax" and "Trap for Cinderella". 
Sounds like a big departure for Julianne.  It will be interesting to see her in a different kind of role!
